New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced that the club has agreed to add Corey Potter as a member of their team. Potter played his NHL game last season with the Rangers on December 7 against Calgary.
Potter spent most of the season with the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League, registering 10 goals and 22 assists with 82 penalty minutes in 67 games. He led all Hartford defensemen in goals, and ranked second among team defensemen in assists and points.
